The unique Information Technology Institute was established by Jigawa State in the year 2000 under the license of Informatics Academy, Singapore, with a view to train and produce IT graduates that would reposition the State and Nigeria as a whole. The institute provides every platform for the students to acquire innovative IT skills that give them more cutting edges among peers.Currently, we have NBTE fully accredited National Diploma courses and flexible International Diploma courses that are Singapore based, (Informatics). The Management of Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic Kazaure invited Professor Babawuro Usman Rector Jigawa State Institute of Information Technology, Kazaure, to serve as a keynote address speaker during Interdisciplinary Annual National Conference held at HAFED Poly Kazaure.
The Rector explained in detail about the main theme of the conference which is “Restructuring Nigeria’s Economy: The Role of Humanities, Science and Technology”. He added that this theme is timely and very significant considering the nature of our contemporary Nigeria.
He finally called on government to transform Nigeria into knowledge and innovation based economy and to facilitate the development of technology intensity with disciplined manpower for effective management. He concluded by welcoming all technical participants of the conference through their presentations and brainstorming will provide better and more precise solutions to the role of Humanities, Science and Technology in Restructuring Nigeria’s Economy, for better so as to improve the living standard of fellow Nigerians.

Kazaure
Kazaure, town and traditional emirate in Jigawa state, northern Nigeria. The town has been the emirate’s headquarters since 1819. It was founded by Dan Tunku, a Fulani warrior who was one of the 14 flag bearers for the Fulani jihad (holy war) leader Usman dan Fodio.
